GPS-Verified Clock-Ins With Geofencing
Confirm employees are actually on site the moment they clock in. Draw a geofence around each location and reject punches from anywhere else.
QRAY checks location at the exact moment of a punch. You draw a geofence around each workplace or job site, and when an employee clocks in, the app confirms they are inside that boundary. If they are not, the punch is rejected. Location is only read at clock-in and clock-out — there is no always-on tracking following people around.

How GPS Verification Works
Each location gets a geofence — a radius you define on a map. When an employee taps to clock in, the QRAY app reads their GPS position once and checks it against that boundary. Inside the fence, the punch goes through. Outside it, the punch is blocked and the manager is notified. Combined with the rotating QR code, you get two independent signals that the right person was in the right place at the right time.
Privacy-First, Punch-Only Location
QRAY does not run background location tracking for the standard time clock. Position is captured only when someone clocks in or out, which keeps the feature compliant with GDPR in the UK and privacy laws like CCPA in the US, and makes it an easy sell to employees who do not want to be followed all day.
