Fixed QR Code — A Printed Code That Only Works On Site
Print one QR code, post it by the door, and staff clock in from their phones. GPS verification means it only works at your location.
You do not need a tablet or kiosk at every door. With QRAY Fixed QR Code, you print a code and post it at the entrance. Staff scan it with the QRAY app to clock in and out. What stops misuse is GPS verification: the code only works inside your defined work area (geofence), so a photo of it is worthless from across town.

How the Fixed QR Code Works
Create a fixed QR code for a location in the admin panel, print it, and post it at the entrance, gate, or job site. When an employee scans it, QRAY checks their phone GPS against the location geofence. Inside the area, the punch is recorded; outside it, the punch is rejected. No screen, tablet, or always-on internet is needed at the point — just a printed sheet.
Why Location Verification Matters
A printed QR code is static and could be photographed and shared. QRAY removes that risk with GPS verification: the code is only valid inside the defined work area. Fake-GPS protection also detects location-spoofing apps, blocking clock-ins attempted from home or another city.
Where It Shines
Fixed QR is ideal for construction sites, warehouses, factory gates, ports, and any large or multi-entrance site where putting a kiosk at every point is not practical. Combine it with kiosk QR codes and one-tap clock-in to assign the right method to each location.
