And because clock-ins use a QR code or a button instead of fingerprints, no biometric data is ever collected. Records That Hold Up Under Scrutiny
Each punch is time-stamped and resistant to after-the-fact edits, and every correction is recorded along with who made it, so each total traces back to the punches behind it. Timesheet rules currently follow Turkish labor law.
Privacy by Design
QRAY collects no biometric data — no fingerprints, no face scans — which sidesteps the heaviest privacy risks. For fixed QR and one-tap clock-ins, location is read only at the moment of the punch, with the employee's device permission, and sent over an encrypted connection; the live QR screen reads no location at all. Continuous location tracking is a separate, optional module that your company turns on with employees' consent; it runs only during working hours, and location history is kept for 90 days. That makes QRAY easy to roll out to a privacy-conscious workforce.
